LIFE ON THE PIER

Babushka began in a field with a focus on making quality food and coffee accessible to all.

We have since spent eight plus years on the South Pier of Portrush, Northern Ireland, where we have continued to evolve and improve while establishing stronger links with our collaborators, suppliers and community.

We are very proud of our relationships and are so grateful for our amazing producers, with their passion and attention to detail. None of this, however, would be possible without the support of our customers, so thank you all.

We aim to make as much as possible in house and source from mostly local family businesses who we count as friends.

Babushka is about more than food or drink; it's about good people, good times and making memories. We try to run events that celebrate all that matters and is important to us.

Babushka x Paints of Hannah Collection — Paints of Hannah

Babushka x Paints of Hannah is a project born from the desire to make art more accessible and to work collaboratively with another small business in Northern Ireland. Hannah (Paints of Hannah) and George (Babushka) wanted to reimagine how we can engage with art.
The collaboration consists of original paintings, giclée prints, sweatshirts and tote bags. We chose to use high quality materials and source local and ethical products where possible.
